CaribDE is a full immersion into credit union history, philosophy, corporate governance and operational activity over an intense five day period (or longer) imparts concepts, develops new and latent skills in all who attend; inspiring them to become more imbued with practical cooperation and the value of their place in social economy and impact on society.

The Cosmetology Institute will constitute a modern fully – equipped training salon and spa complete with separate cosmetology hair-dressing salon and demo-room, mani/pedi/make-up room and massage room all on the upper floor. The salon and spa will be providing students with hands-on ‘real work’ experience, while training, and this will aid in their level of skills. Training will be offered at CVQ Level 2 and 3. aesthetics. This facility will prepare students for a number of possible occupations such as: – Cosmetologist, Hairdresser, Esthetician, Nail Technologist, Massage Therapist, Make-up Artist, Beauty consultant and many more.

 

The Youth Training and Employment Partnership Programme (YTEPP) is an intervention strategy aimed at addressing the issue of escalating unemployment, particularly among young persons between the ages of 15 and 35.  YTEPP Limited offers over 80 vocational courses in 12 occupational areas, and training is conducted in six-month cycles.  The Programme is open to eligible persons who are interested in entrepreneurship or acquiring Level I and II (craft and pre-craft) technical vocational training.
